Schaumburg offers a fantastic array of restaurant options. Even though Schaumburg is 20 miles from Chicago, you can find most of the same cuisines. While suburban food Meccas like Evanston have several hundred well-tried restaurants, Schaumburg has almost as many restaurants with many of Schaumburg's greatest restaurants still undiscovered by many people. Perhaps it is Schaumburg's size that causes many of its restaurants to fail to get the attention they deserve. Since a lot of great restaurants are clustered around Woodfield Mall, maybe people do not see a reason to look anywhere else. This may be true, but are people checking out new restaurants that open in that area, or do they stay with their 'tried and true?' If you are looking for a great new restaurant near Woodfield, we highly recommend Lincoln Whiskey Kitchen. The menu has many original twists on time-honored American favorites, and don't get me started on the whiskey selection! This one is definitely worth the trip.
