I don’t often write on line reviews, but something had to be said. My family decided last night to have Brown’s Chicken for dinner. I arrived at 5:35 p.m. and was waited on immediately. the man who took my order was friendly and told me that I would have to wait about 15 minutes for my order since they had just filled a very large order. I said okay, since I thought it would be hot and fresh. I took a seat and waited. About 10 minutes later I decided to see what was happening, since the crowd was getting bigger. MY SHIRT STUCK TO THE CHAIR! Everyone was still waiting and I thinking that I was first, was feeling pretty good. Then they started putting orders up at the counter. 30 minutes later, my order was still not at the counter. I asked why everyone else was being served and not me. I was told that it would be just a few more minutes. STILL NO FOOD. After an hour and almost everyone else got their order I decided to go somewhere else. The guy at the counter THREW THE MONEY AT ME. I asked who was the manager and was pointed out the manager who proceed to turn the other way. I then left quietly after a few other people told me that it wouldn’t do any good to complain, this is the way “these people” are, I was told.
I went to get chicken somewhere else.
My family is forbidden to eat here and most of my Northbrook friends have been told about my experience. I will continue to spread the word.
